Anthony Hill Jr named NFL Rookie of the Month.
Going into week one, Anthony Hill Jr. wasn't even a starter, but a freak incident involving star linebacker Cedric Gray made the rookie out of Texas step up.
Gray was forced to miss week one after a UTV incident over Labor Day weekend, and next in line was Hill, who was now under immense pressure to fill the gap of the star.

The 6'2", 238 pound linebacker immediately showed an impact, compiling 16 total tackles against the Jets, as well as a pass breakup that likely should have been a forced and recovered fumble, but was called incomplete by the refs.
Since then he has kept pace -- 10 and 8 tackles respectively in weeks two and three.
With his current pace, Hill would finish with 193 tackles in his rookie year.
Leading the NFL in tackles through one month has led to Hill being named the NFL Rookie of the Month.
Last year, Carson Schwesinger was named the same award in November, and went on to win Defensive Rookie of the Year.
