Could the Tennessee Titans Sign Brian Daboll's Old Player?

During the 2025 NFL season it became increasingly clear that the team needed help at the wide receiver position. Rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike attracted the most targets out of the wideouts after the injury to Calvin Ridley, and they were fine, but it is obvious that they need more.

There needs to be more experience, more speed, more talent, and more help for Cam Ward to properly lead an offense. This is where one of Brian Daboll's old players could come in handy.

The Titans Should Sign Wan'Dale Robinson

Wan'Dale Robinson is coming off of his first 1000 yard season and has launched himself into being one of the top wide receiving free agents this offseason.

The most convincing argument for him coming to Tennessee is his relationship with new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. Daboll was the head coach of the Giants when they drafted Robinson in the third round and has been pivotal to his development.

Daboll and Robinson would be a great pair to be reunited with the Titans and would fill a gaping hole at wide receiver.

The Titans can certainly afford him, as they have the most cap space in the NFL with over $100 million in available cap.

This doesn't come without complications though, as the fit would have to be figured out. Chimere Dike was mainly the Titans slot receiver in 2025 and that is where Robinson got over 600 of his yards from this last season.

Robinson has played out the inside and outside though, so he should be able to support snaps in both positions, while allowing Dike to get a similiar amount of receiving snaps as in his rookie year.

The receiving room is getting crowded in Tennessee, but a signing for Wan'Dale Robinson would send him right to being a high level starter and key target for Cam Ward.
