The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching, and with that the Tennessee Titans are unloading players for picks. One of the rumors with the most gas in the fire was with Dre'mont Jones, who was just dealt to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Titans are receiving a conditional 5th round pick, that could become a 4th rounder. This pick is that of the New York Jets, which does net better for the Titans, as the Jets are one of the worst teams in the NFL.
This is the best compensation that has been netted from any of the Titans' trades this season, and adding an extra early 5th rounder could prove to be good value for a player on only a one year deal.
Jones had improved his trade value greatly over the recent weeks, racking up 4.5 sacks across 4 games.
It is unclear what the conditions are for the pick to become a 4th, but I imagine it is a large percentage of snaps that has a low chance of being reached.
This trade to the Ravens helps improve their lackluster pass rush and their hopes of charging back to a playoff run after a slow start to the season.
