Tennessee Titans 2025 record prediction

The NFL schedules were released a few days ago, and the Tennessee Titans are looking at a fairly easy schedule due to being the worst team in the league last season. Will this lead to an increased win total? Will Cam Ward lead a playoff birth in his rookie season? All of this will be covered with this record prediction.

Week 1: Denver Broncos beat the Tennessee Titans 17 - 14

The Denver Broncos are coming off of a 10-7 record, which was led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix. They have one of the top defenses in the league, led by superstar cornerback Patrick Surtain II, and the defense has only been improved upon by drafting Jahdae Barron in the first round. This will be an incredibly difficult secondary for Cam Ward to go up against in his NFL debut, and I believe he will struggle. These teams are fairly similar on paper, however the Broncos have one of the best coaches in league in Sean Payton. Mix this advantage on defense and coaching, as well as home field advantage, I believe the Broncos pull off a close, defensive win to open off the year.

Week 2: Tennessee Titans beat the LA Rams 24-20

We got a fighter in Cam Ward. He is not going to let us lose our home opener or lose two straight to start the season. The Rams have a high powered offense on paper led by Matthew Stafford, with a supporting cast including Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams. The Titans aren't particularly weak on defense though, with L'Jarius Sneed, Jeffery Simmons, T'Vondre Sweat, and many newer up and coming players. The Rams also have a great coach in Sean McVay, who as of now is better than Brian Callahan. I believe though that home field advantage and a winning spirit by Cam Ward helps the Titans overcome the potential disadvantage in roster in this game and win their home opener.

Week 3: Tennessee Titans beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-21

I hate the colts, but they have gotten the better of us recently. This changes here. A home game for the Titans, an equally talented roster, and a spark lit under them, the Titans won't lose at home to the Colts again. The rosters are similar, the quarterbacks are young and full of potential, and newer coaches that haven't fully found their footing yet. I think this game comes down to home field advantage, and I sense a big game from Calvin Ridley. We can't be swept again.

Week 4: Houston Texans beat the Tennessee Titans 27-21

The Texans are way too talented. Their only obvious hole to me is their offensive line, after trading Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders and Kenyon Green to the Eagles. The Titans should be able to take advantage of this with their pass rush, however it won't be enough to turn the tides in their favor enough. C.J. Stroud is a great quarterback, he is surrounded by talented recievers like Nico Collins and Tank Dell, and they have an solid runningback with Joe Mixon. I just don't see this defense keeping up with the talent of the Texans, especially on the road.

Week 5: Tennessee Titans beat Arizona Cardinals 34-21

I can't see the Cardinals being very good. Sure, they have pieces. They have a top 5 tight end in Trey McBride and a top 5-10 safety with Buddha Baker, but they have some clear holes. Kyler Murray is not a superstar, James Connor is aging, Marvin Harrison struggled, and their defense is not stellar. If the Titans can have the high powered offense that I am able to foresee with all of the solid pieces around Cam Ward, they could be in to significantly outplay the Cardinals. Jonathan Gannon is not a great head coach, so Brian Callahan may be able to out-couch him in this matchup.

Week 6: Tennessee Titans beat LV Raiders 28 - 14

This Raiders roster is..... bad. Geno Smith was serviceable in Seattle, but had an incredible recieving core of D.K. Metcalf, JSN, and Tyler Lockett. With the Raiders he has.... Jakobi Myers and Brock Bowers, which isn't bad, but needs much more. Ashton Jeanty is an incredible prospect, but the Raiders have potentially a bottom 10 offensive line to block for him, so he is not in the best situation. They do have some decent pass rushers though, highlighted by Maxx Crosby, but outside of that, this is a weak roster. Cam Ward should have a field day with this team and Big Jeff should be able to feast.

Week 7: Tennessee Titans beat NE Patriots 20-17

Two of last years bottom feeders face off. Young quarterback vs. young quarterback. Mike Vrabel comes back to Tennessee. Harold Landry and Jack Gibbens return to Tennessee. This game will be highly competitive. The Patriots have a lot of young talent, but also a lot of holes. Drake Maye is still a question mark (although I think he will be good), and he does not have very many weapons around him other than an aging Stefon Diggs overcoming an ACL tear. The defense is good but not great, and the offensive line is amongst the league's worst. This will be a defensive and scrappy game, but with home field advantage I think the Titans pull it off against their former coach.

Week 8: Indianapolis Colts beat the Tennessee Titans 24-17

Yea, I don't think we will be good enough to sweep the Colts this season, especially when we play them on the road. Divisional matchups are always high intensity, tough, and exhausting. I expect Anthony Richardson to be hurt or benched by this time, so my prediction is for Daniel Jones to be the quarterback in this matchup. I think splitting the season series this year is a good bet.

Week 9: LA Chargers beat the Tennessee Titans 27- 16

Justin Herbert will be the difference maker in this game. We have played the chargers several times over the past few seasons and lost them all, and I do not see that changing now. The Chargers are underrated on both offense and defense with good pieces such as Ladd McConkey, Najee Harris, Quentin Johnston, and a solid offensive line highlighted by Joe Alt. On defense they have strong players led by Derwin James Jr. and Khalil Mack. The Chargers have one of the top coaches in the league and I can see them being second place in the AFC West, just behind Kansas City.

Week 11: Tennessee Titans beat Houston Texans 24-23

Coming off of a bye week and having home field advantage, I think the Titans win a scrappy, hard fought game and barely edge out the Texans, leading to splitting the season series. We somehow got the better of them last year and I think it happens again in 2025, led by a strong pass rush on one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.

Week 12: Seattle Seahawks beat the Tennessee Titans 34-24

Another underrated roster is that of the Seattle Seahawks. If Sam Darnold can play as well as he did last season, the Seahawks may have a formidable offense with weapons like Cooper Kupp and Jackson Smith-Njigba, as well as Kenneth Walker III in the backfield. The Seahawks have a scary defensive secondary with young pieces Devon Witherspoon, Riq Woolen, and Julian Love. This Will be a matchup that causes a struggle for Cam Ward, and he is bound to have off games, but this will be a small stump in a great rookie campaign.

Week 13: Tennessee Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-24

The Jaguars are in a make or break year. Surrounded with Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter, quarterback Trevor Lawrence has no excuses not to be great. With a strong defense and a strong offense, the Jaguars will be a tough opponent on any given week, with their biggest downside being their offensive line. The Titans will look to take advantage of this week line and hopefully weak quarterback, and make a competitive game that I think they pull out at home.

Week 14: Cleveland Browns beat the Tennessee Titans 24-23

This will be a trap game. The Browns roster is questionable at best, mostly highlighted by their defense. The Titans have struggled in recent years against Cleveland, and their defense, highlighted by Myles Garrett, will cause problems for Cam Ward. I believe this game will end up being another bump in the road for a good season for Cam Ward, but this Browns defense will be able to take advantage of the young quarterback.

Week 15: San Francisco 49ers beat the Tennessee Titans 28-20

I will never give up on the 49ers talent. They are so good across the board, even with the departure of many veterans like Deebo Samuel. One of the best coaches in the league and one of the most talented teams, the 49ers will bounce back from a rough 2024 this season. The injuries will be fewer and the games will be easier. The Titans will just be outfought in this week 15 matchup, especially with it being on the road. Having Trent Williams back will solidify their offensive line, and their defense will be back to being upon the league's best.

Week 16: KC Chiefs beat the Tennessee Titans 34-23

I don't think there is a ton to explain here. The Titans are in the middle of a rebuild, and the Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Chris Jones, and really what more do they need. They have the best coach in the NFL and are going to be angry this season after their Super Bowl loss last season. The Titans are just not far enough in a rebuild to have much of a chance to compete with a team who has made the Super Bowl so many times. Crazier things have happened though.

Week 17: Tennessee Titans beat the NO Saints 37- 27

I think the Saints will be the worst team in the NFL this season. They have nothing at quarterback as of now, with Tyler Shough being their quarterback. They have a lack of recievers, a bottom-ten offensive line, and an aging defense that I expect will start to be traded by mid season. This team has no cap space and is in a terrible position right now. The Titans, however, have a young quarterback, ample amounts of cap space, and a constantly improving offensive line and defense. The Titans should be able to make easy work of the Saints.

Week 18: Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 24-21

8-8. Game for a wild card. The Titans are no strangers to win-and-in games against the Jags. This one will result in heartbreak. The best and worst of the AFC south are very close, and on the road the Jaguars will themselves a win, splitting the season series. This marks the end for a very strong rookie season for Cam Ward, and high hopes of the rebuild all around the Titans facility. It may seem like a loss, but really it is a long term win for the future Super Bowl champion Tennesee Titans. A final record of 8-9.
